This notice explains how bowcloudspay collects, uses and protects personal data. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

What we collect

We collect the information needed to run fee collection: school and staff details, student records, parent contact details, and payment information. Payment card details are handled by our licensed payment providers, not stored by us.

How we use it

We use personal data to operate the Service — recording and reconciling payments, issuing receipts, producing reports for schools, and communicating with parents about their children’s fees. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share one school’s data with another.

How we protect it

Data is protected in transit and at rest, and each school’s records are kept separate from every other school on the platform. Access is limited to what each role needs.

Your rights

Under the NDPR you have rights over your personal data, including to access it or ask us to correct it. To make a request, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
